“How do you get new staff members up to speed on ecommerce accounting?”
We asked this question during a panel session at the Digital Accountancy Show in the UK. The answers varied greatly – from “learning as you go and addressing questions as they come,” to detailed onboarding playbooks complete with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists.
The reality is that ecommerce can be complex and nuanced, depending on the channels and countries your clients sell in. There’s no one-size-fits-all training approach for every practice.
But, regardless of your training method, there are ecommerce accounting resources available to make your life, and the lives of your team members, a little easier – especially for anyone new to ecommerce (or wanting a refresh). And that’s what we’re dedicating this week’s A2X newsletter to.
