I’ve been in the cloud accounting industry for much of my career, working side-by-side with accountants and bookkeepers to support business owners with their accounting.

In this ecosystem, the word “partnership” gets used a lot, especially between vendors and accounting professionals. But over the years, it’s become a loaded term. Why? Unfortunately, it can be misused by vendors who really mean “reseller,” leaving a weird taste in people’s mouths.

True partnership comes with expectations: “Are we working towards the same outcome?”, “Do I feel supported?”, “Am I being championed?”, and so much more.

That’s why, at A2X, we put so much importance into our Partner Program. We see it as a vehicle (one of many) to demonstrate that we’re truly in this together with our accounting partners.

We fundamentally believe that every business selling on Amazon, Shopify, and other ecommerce channels should be connected with an accounting professional who understands ecommerce. We’ve constructed our Partner Program to do exactly that, because we believe that together, software + accounting expertise, we can help ecommerce businesses achieve financial success.

If you weren’t aware, we’ve developed a certification course to help accounting professionals servicing ecommerce clients get more out of A2X.

It’s been completed by over 1,500 accountants and bookkeepers 🤯, and has helped them save countless hours setting up accurate and automated ecommerce accounting workflows.

It’s a self-paced video course that takes about an hour to complete. You also get a badge that you can promote on your site, and it’s a prerequisite to becoming an A2X Bronze partner.
