New Walmart Transaction: Promo Code

In our ongoing commitment to enhance financial clarity and accuracy for sellers, we are introducing a new transaction type specific to Walmart sales: ‘Promo Code’.

This new transaction will be applicable on sales, refunds, and tax mappings. 

For users utilizing the auto-mapping feature, this new transaction type will automatically be allocated to your default accounts. 

If you prefer to manually manage your account mappings, you will need to assign the ‘Promo Code’ transaction to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) account. For consistency and ease of tracking, we recommend assigning it to the same GL account used for similar transactions.
