Changing the Marketplace for Amazon Inferred Marketplaces

A2X determines the marketplace of Amazon settlements based on their transactions. However, some transaction types don’t include a defined marketplace. In the past, A2X would do its best to infer the marketplace based on the settlement’s currency as well as your account’s primary marketplace. 

We’ve introduced a key update for Amazon customers for how the marketplace is determined for Amazon settlements. A2X now provides a way to change the marketplace in the event that the inference is incorrect.

This only impacts settlements that don’t have any transactions with marketplaces explicitly defined in the raw data from Amazon. For settlements which we have inferred the marketplace for, you will see a caution banner that gives you the option to change the marketplace:
